The Library will be closed Thursday through Sunday for the Thanksgiving holiday

A COVID Update:

We have been getting a lot of questions about the status of our library with the MDHHS order
recently released. As of now, we are going
to be staying open, but we will need to be more
vigilant about safety measures.

Please do your part by;

* Wearing your mask when you visit us

  • * Staying six-feet away from those who are outside of your immediate household

* Washing your hands or using hand sanitizer

We will do our part by;

 * Wearing our masks and gloves

* Staying behind Plexiglas and away from public areas as much as possible

* Quarantining items for three days after being returned

* Disinfecting high-traffic touchpoints

* Eliminating in-person programming

* Limiting computer assistance

We will offer curbside service to anyone who asks, call us at (989) 843-6522.
We are more than happy to meet you at the
curb with your books, and we could even make
copies and do faxes for you while you stay in your car!

Closing Early

With the virus keeping us apart, we need to come up with new out-of-the-box
ways to feel connected. Share with us your favorite festive treat recipes, and
we will bind them up into a unique booklet that will give you locally tested
and approved recipes to try this holiday season!

Go here for more information!

Our crafty librarian Sue has made some Christmas stockings out of old sweaters, and
they are now for sale at the Mayville Library on a first come, first served basis!

If you have any old Christmas sweaters you're looking to get rid of, we are accepting
donations in order to make more of these festive stockings!

Our book sale is ongoing year round, that has not changed. You are still able
to purchase the sale items, but we cannot accept any donations at the
moment due to
the virus. We will be sure to let you know when we are
able to take donations again. Until then, if you
have used books you need
to get rid of, try the Mayville Share Shop or a Goodwill.

Phased Reopening Plan

This is our current plan as to how we will reopen services to the
community while protecting the health of our staff and patrons.

We are on Phase 2; open with limited occupancy.
