Beginner's Quilt Class with Jan Steele

We will be hosting another Beginner's Quilting Class taught by Jan Steele over the course of four Saturdays in February and March: February 3rd, 10th, 17th, and March 2nd, from 9:30am-12:00pm.

Week 1: Learn how to use a rotary cutter and ruler, how to choose your fabric, understanding your sewing machine, and more!

Week 2: Learn how to read the pattern, cut out your quilt pieces, and begin piecing it together.

Week 3: Learn how to do borders, make the quilt "sandwich", and machine quilting.

Week 4: Learn binding and labeling.

You must register for the class ahead of time and pay at the time of registration. This class is limited to 6 people so everyone can have individual help. The cost of the class is $45.00, plus the book and supplies you will need. You will receive a list of supplies at the time of registration.

Everyone will be working with the same basic pattern. Each quilt can be personalized according to the material that is used. The final size of the quilt will be 36x48.
